The Competition
The World Golf Competition tees-off in February 2025 across 16 Zones worldwide. Progress through four rounds to reach the World Final played in the Caribbean.
Beat 3 players in your group, do it 4 times to reach the World Final at Punta Espada Golf Club.
Your Competition Journey
Round 1
Choose your starting Zone in Round 1 (e.g. Australia). Each of the 16 Zones have 12 world class one-day events hosted by 6 of the Zone’s top golf courses. Some courses host two separate round 1s on different days. Please select only one suitable date at the course for your Round 1 event. Round 1 event is played as an 18 hole competition on the advertised day.
In Round 1 the top 50% of the field will progress as there are two opportunities to move through The Competition, either to Round 2 or a repechage second chance. Â
You will play Round 1 using the One v Three Format, where the player with the highest Stableford score beats the other 3 players and progresses to Round 2.
Players who do not win the One v Three Format but have a Stableford score in the top 50% of the field will progress to the Repechage Event.Â
Round 2 & Repechage
Welcome to Round 2, where all the other winners from Round 1 are now here with you in the Second Round. Here you will compete using One v Three Format, comprised only of other Round 1 winners. Your only focus here is to beat the other 3 players to win through to the Zone Final.
For the players that qualified for the Repechage Event, Welcome. To earn your advancement, you will be competing against the Repechage Event field, where the best aggregate/combined Stableford score from Round 1 and the Repechage Event will progress to the Zone Final. Â

World Final
Congratulations, you have qualified in the top 100 competitors of the 13,000 golfers who started out in Round 1. The World Final will be played under handicapped strokeplay rules using your golf handicap. As part of your World Final experience, you will also be eligible to play two practice rounds. The final competition will be two 18 hole rounds on consecutive days at the stunning Punta Espada Golf Club in the Dominican Republic.
