Founded in 1895 by British and American diplomats, we are one of the largest and most renowned golf clubs in Germany. The course in the Wannsee district was built in 1926.
The varied, narrow fairways make room for old trees. Its rolling hills, atypical of the flat Brandenburg countryside, provide golfers of all skill levels athletic challenges and revitalizing tranquillity in equal measure.
Promoting golf at an ambitious level has a long tradition in our club. The “Team Berlin-Wannsee” unites and connects successful teams, athletes in all age groups. They represent the GLCBW at selected tournaments in the region, in Germany and internationally at amateur and professional levels.
Our club has been represented by women and men in the 1st Bundesliga of the German Golf League (DGL) for many years. We regularly compete for top positions and titles. However, the high sporting standards also apply to all other teams that take part in the sporting competition for the GLCBW in their age groups.
