A Ryder Cup Venue

Ganton is privileged to be one of only three golf clubs in Yorkshire to have had the honour of hosting the Ryder Cup in 1949. The Club is a member of a very select group of four clubs that have had the honour of hosting the Ryder Cup, the Walker Cup & the Curtis Cup.

The Ganton course generally puts a premium on accuracy rather than length. Combined with the firmness of the turf and the splendid surroundings, this quality makes it one of the world’s finest inland courses.
