About the Course

Kingsbarns Golf Links

Kingsbarns is a traditional Scottish links golf course located on a special seaside site where golf has been played since 1793. Fine-bladed fescue grasses thrive on our undulating sandy soil and support the fast running golf shots from tight lies which are characteristic of links golf.

The course offers scenic sea views from every hole as you play along almost two miles of North Sea coastline.

We’re honoured to be consistently recognised in the Top 100 Worldwide Golf Courses by major golf magazines and media rankings.

Major Venue

Since 2001 we annually co-host The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship on the DP World Tour together with Carnoustie and The Old Course.

We are proud to have hosted the Ricoh Women’s British Open in 2017, where the greatest players in the women’s game assembled. The event was won by IK Kim.
