The Competition - Prizes
Up to $5 Million USD Pool plus Hole-in-One Prizes
The prizes for the World Golf Competition conform to the value prescribed by R&A and USGA or the relevant local golf body. They will include bespoke Trophies designed by the world class sculpture Ted Secombe, Event Day prizes, Pre-Event prizes, Lucky Draws and Hole-in-One opportunities.
Hole-in-One Opportunities
Each round of The Competition will have a significant Hole-in-One prize in keeping with the expectation of any Professional Golf Event. These prizes will be:
- Round 1: $15,000 USD Cash Prize
- Round 2: $25,000 USD Cash Prize
- Zone Final: $50,000 USD Cash Prize
- Regional Final: Porsche Taycan valued at up to $300,000 USD.
- World Final: Porsche 911 valued at up to $410,000 USD.
Event Day Prizes
Across 2025 The Competition will comprise of over 313 events globally to crown a true champion of amateur golf. On each of these event days World Golf Competition is committed to recognising the success of our players by offering significant prizes to the daily winners, runners-up and more. These prizes will be provided in the way of golfing products and/or retail vouchers for our partner organisations. All prizes will be paid within the rules and guidelines for amateur status as posted by the governing bodies.
Bespoke Trophies
“When commissioned to create bespoke trophies for World Golf Competition a new set of challenges had to be met outside my regular studio practise. Being a multimedia artist facilitated the production of trophies that have a different visual appeal brought about by using polished stainless steel, bronze, and porcelain. I have created these trophies in an attempt to elicit a response of awe in the viewer.” – Ted Secombe
Lucky Draws
For players in Round 1 who are unsuccessful in progressing through to Round 2 or the Repechage Event, World Golf Competition will be running promotional lucky draws. To remain eligible for these draws, players must continue to maintain engagement with The Competition and its accompanying Ranking System. The major prizes for these lucky draws will be a tour package to one of The Competition Regional Final venues for two people valued up to USD$50,000. Including;
- Business class flights.
- Five nights luxury accommodation
- All meals and beverages
- Two rounds of golf at a World Golf Competition Regional Final venue. Winners can choose which Regional Final venue they wish to visit.
Pre-Event Prizes
In the lead up to the Round 1 events and throughout 2025, entrants will be provided the opportunity to win rewards through the Ranking System. These prizes will be provided in the way of golfing products and/or retail vouchers for our partner organisations. All prizes will be paid within the rules and guidelines for amateur status as posted by the governing bodies.
